🔧 Roku Device IPTV Setup Guide

Roku does not support installing APKs or IPTV apps directly, so you must use an official Roku Store app that supports M3U playlists or screen-mirroring.
Here are the two best working methods:

Method 1: Using “Web Video Caster” (Recommended)

This is the best method for Roku because it allows you to load M3U IPTV playlists through a connected app on your phone.

Step 1 — Install Web Video Caster on Roku

  1. On your Roku, go to Streaming Channels

  2. Search for Web Video Caster Receiver

  3. Install it

Step 2 — Install Web Video Caster on Your Phone

  • For Android → Open Google Play Store

  • For iPhone → Open Apple App Store

  • Search Web Video Caster and install the app

Step 3 — Add Your IPTV M3U Playlist

  1. Open Web Video Caster on your phone

  2. Go to Menu → IPTV

  3. Select Add Playlist

  4. Enter your M3U URL (provided by your IPTV service)

  5. Save

  6. Select a channel and cast it to your Roku

Done! You can now watch Live TV, Movies, and Series on Roku.

Method 2: Screen Mirroring From Your Phone

If you prefer to use your IPTV app directly:

Step 1 — Enable Screen Mirroring on Roku

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select System

  3. Select Screen Mirroring

  4. Choose Always Allow

Step 2 — Mirror Your Phone

  • On Android:

    • Open Cast / Smart View / Screen Mirror

    • Select your Roku

  • On iPhone:

    • Swipe down → Control Center

    • Tap Screen Mirroring

    • Select your Roku

Step 3 — Open Your IPTV App

Open any IPTV app on your phone (Smarters, TiviMate, XCIPTV, etc.) and play your channels—it will display on Roku.
